Australia in the Great War is a permanent exhibition in the First World War Galleries at the Australian War Memorial. It is the first major refurbishment of the galleries in over 40 years and one of the key contributions to commemorating the centenary of the conflict.
Principal exhibition designers Cunningham Martyn Design, developed probably the most challenging gallery re-configuration project designcase have ever delivered. The complexity and level of detail with regards the Joinery and Showcase package is second to none. Designcase and Designcraft were appointed main fit-out contractors and delivered the full fit-out package from joinery, proprietary and custom showcases, AV and Graphics, as well as tertiary packages. Designcase deployed Lucent2 showcases throughout the gallery, as well as a number of proprietary and custom showcase solutions. Ljus lighting is also used throughout the gallery space and for internal showcase lighting.
