Designcase supplied the new Western Australian Museum Boola Bardip, Hackett Hall, with a significant number of very large format ClickNetherfield proprietary Spectrum showcases, mounted to an open SHS Steel base structure. The brief for this project was to deliver large, full access display volumes, with very high levels of front access to international museum standards, in order to allow the Museum full flexibility with regards internal fit-out. Hackett Hall, also known as the Treasures Gallery, is a high changeover display environment featuring the ‘Treasures’ from the Museum collection. Tight, limited access to the Gallery space during the construction phase of the building, required that all showcases were made demountable, shipped to site unassembled, and reassembled on-site. Hackett Hall is 1 of 4 gallery spaces delivered by Designcase for this new museum project.
