The relationship between Designcase and Sydney University Museums spans over 2 decades, and we are both proud and privileged to be part of the Chau Chak Wing (CCW) Museum project.
Designed by JPW Architects and construction by FDC, this is a landmark project and is one of the premier Gallery and Museum space in Australia.
Beautiful Architecture and detailing is complimented by Gallery and Exhibition spaces which celebrate one of the most diverse and important collections in the country.
Working with 4 designers and the university project team, Designcase delivered showcases and joinery to 6 separate and diverse gallery spaces, as well as mass storage display in the Study Rooms. Every showcase type in our full suite of products was required to meet the design intent, whilst maintaining the highest level of quality and museums standards, accessibility and object safety.
Designcase also supplied all of the Showcase, Gallery and Exhibition lighting using the Ljus Design product throughout.
